I hadn't heard about him nor did I know much about Botswana until reading this article. This was definitely inspirational. I'll look more into their history.

By the way, I'd love to read about more examples like this one in future articles!

Botswana also have the biggest sovereign wealth fund in sub Saharan Africa, don't owe an IMF loan, and is the ONLY African country that has bonds rated as "investment grade" instead of "junk"!
